Professor Goodman in Japan

Professor Roger Goodman will be in Japan very briefly in mid February to speak at two major conferences about Higher Education Reform.

In the evening of Friday 13 February, Professor Goodman will give a talk at the University of Tokyo on the subject of “How Oxford restructured for the twenty-first century”. For more information and to make a booking please look at the University of Tokyo’s Global Leadership Programme page.

On 14 – 15 February Professor Goodman will also speak and take part in a conference organised by Tsukuba University on the theme of leadership, governance and the internationalisation of Higher Education. This is arranged under the auspices of the Japanese Government’s Super Global University initiative of which Tsukuba University is a designated university. Professor Roger Goodman is Head of the Social Sciences Division of the University of Oxford, Nissan Professor of Modern Japanese Studies, and a leading world figure in the social anthropology of Japan.
