The main deadlines for 2014 admissions onto graduate courses at Oxford are fast approaching. Actual deadlines vary from course to course, but are most commonly 10 or 24 January 2014. You can actually submit an application up until March or even beyond if there are spaces on your course available, but if you wish to be considered for one of the University’s many scholarships you must apply by January.

Please look at the Oxford Graduate Admissions website to find all the information you need to apply, including exactly which documents you need. We recommend that you start preparing your application early to make it as strong as possible and to maximize your chance of success. The graduate admissions website fully outlines the application steps. It even has an animated guide to the process.

Oxford is fortunate to have a large number of scholarships for students, many of which are funded through the generosity of our donors. You can find information about all our scholarships with the fees, funding and scholarship search. Some scholarships are particularly aimed at Japanese students, including the Aso New College scholarship, Oxford Kobe scholarships and the Swire scholarships.

Every year many excellent students from Japan come up to Oxford to enjoy the unique and stimulating academic environment of the University. If you are hoping to study in Oxford from 2014, please take note of your course’s deadline, prepare your application carefully, and above all – good luck!
