The second Alumni Weekend in Asia will take place from 24 – 26 March 2017 in Singapore. This is a great opportunity to meet other alumni based in the region and to reconnect with Oxford through the rich programme of social and academic events that is being planned.
The event starts on Friday night when a number of colleges and departments will be holding evening activities. The main academic programme will be held all day on Saturday starting with a plenary by the Chancellor Lord Patten of Barnes, and with lectures by some of Oxford’s top academics in a range of subjects. The Vice-Chancellor Professor Louise Richardson will be hosting lunch during which she will give an update on the University. In the evening there will be a black tie gala reception and dinner with entertainment from Keble College Chapel Choir.
The programme continues on Sunday with brunch at the British High Commissioner’s Residence, an exhibition of one of Shakespeare’s First Folios, and viewing of the annual boat race between Singapore-based Oxford and Cambridge alumni.
More information on this event, including how to book your space, can be found on the Oxford Alumni website. We hope to see you in Singapore.
