Oxford alumni from around Asia will be convening in Hong Kong from 21 – 23 March for the first ever Meeting Minds: Alumni Weekend in Asia. The Weekend will be hosted by the Chancellor and Vice-Chancellor of the University and an exciting academic and social programme has been planned. Lectures and debates will cover areas such as the future of human health, the importance of Asia, and how mathematics can be used to predict the future. Many colleges will be in attendance and are planning special dinners or events for their alumni.
If you are unable to travel to Hong Kong for this event, you can still get a flavour of what is happening from the University of Oxford Japan Office Facebook page. During the course of the weekend we will be posting stories and photos so that you can get a good feel for what is happening.
We started our Facebook page in autumn 2013 and use it to post stories and news about Oxford in Japan and give other information that might be of interest to alumni and friends of the University. Please follow our page to keep connected with all things Oxford and Japan related.
