We will be holding a pre-departure event in the evening on Friday 18 August for students who have received a place to study (including both conditional and unconditional offer holders) at the University of Oxford from the academic year 2023-24 .

During the session we will have a live link to Oxford where staff from Student Information and Immigration will give important information about visa applications, necessary paperwork for enrolment in the University, travel to Oxford and other aspects of University and College life. There will plenty of time to ask questions and talk through any concerns or queries you have about how best to prepare for your new life in Oxford. The session is open to students going onto both graduate and undergraduate programmes. It is a great way to start to make contact with other students who will be going up to Oxford at the same time as you.

After the information session we will have an informal reception with current students and alumni from Oxford currently living in Japan. This will be a chance to talk to current and former students about their first-hand experiences, and also get some live tips and advice about what to expect and how to prepare.

Invitations to this event will be sent directly from Oxford to students who have been successful in receiving an offer on a course. If you currently have an offer for an undergraduate course and would like to attend this event, please contact us using the booking form below.
