Japan Office

The University of Oxford’s student football club will be visiting Japan this month. 17 members of the squad will be in Japan and the team will play in fixtures against Keio University (9 Dec), University of Tokyo (12 Dec), Kyoto University (14 Dec) and Osaka University (16 Dec).

OUAFC (Oxford University Association Football Club) last visited Japan in 1969 on a major tour with a combined team from both Oxford and Cambridge. This time Oxford will be here on their own and will play against major universities in Japan as a way to foster cultural exchange and friendship.　Training game with Jiyugakuen College is also planned (11 Dec).

The Cambridge & Oxford Society Tokyo has invited the team members to their second Tuesday get-together which will be held in the evening of 9 December. Details can be found here. (www.camford.org)
