The Principal of Linacre College, Dr Nick Brown, is visiting Japan in May 2016 and there will be a special dinner for Linacre alumni on Saturday 14 May in Tokyo.
Linacre College is a graduate College of the University of Oxford and has a highly international student and alumni body. Founded in 1962, the College is named after one of the greatest scholars of the Renaissance, Thomas Linacre (1460 – 1524). The College reflects Linacre’s breadth of learning and strong ideals in its own multi-disciplinary approach.
In 2012 the College launched a 50th Anniversary Campaign and this dinner is to celebrate the campaign’s successful completion. The Principal would like to personally express his appreciation to all donors from Japan, and give an update on the College.
If you are a graduate of Linacre, a current or former Linacre Fellow, Visiting Senior Member, or other Linacre category, please join Principal Dr Nick Brown, Associate Professor in Applied Linguistics and Linacre Fellow Dr Heath Rose, and other Old Members of the College at this special event. Your spouse or partner is also most welcome.
