Applications for the Sakaguchi International Scholarship Foundation’s DPhil scholarship starting in April 2024 will be open from 1 October – 30 November 2023. This is a scholarship for outstanding Japanese DPhil students at Oxford who are intending to take a leadership role in an international organisation in future. The successful applicant will be awarded 150,000JPY per month from April 2024 for a maximum of 36 months.
Sakaguchi International Scholarship Foundation was founded in 1988 and has been awarding scholarships to foreign students coming to study in Japan for many years. They have offered a scholarship since 2018 to a Japanese student undertaking a DPhil in Oxford who wishes to contribute actively to international understanding, global friendship and world peace.
